Organic Farming - Fun & Learn (校友有機農莊樂暢聚) 2017-10-14
City University of Hong Kong

The Convocation promotes eco-initiative to foster a sustainable green environment! Here comes the chance for CityU alumni to learn more about environmental conservation and get a unique hands-on experience on organic farming.

The Convocation cordially invites CityU alumni to join a visit to an organic farm run by our alumnus Mr Wong Yu-wing in the afternoon of 14 October 2017, Saturday. We are pleased to have our Standing Committee member Mr Gabriel HoMSocSc Social Work, BSocSc (Hons) Social Work, to lead the activity. Participants will visit the organic farm and enjoy a 2.5-hour wide-ranging programme including talk on organic farming, workshop on planting, fruit-picking and many more. You, your family members and friends are welcome to join (a maximum of four for each group).

Visiting organic farm can be educational and entertaining for adults and children alike, it is a wonderful family activity. While you will network with fellow alumni or make new friends, you are at the same time preserving the environment. Roundtrip transportation will be specially arranged.
