The Convocation is dedicated to uniting fellow alumni to support social service endeavors. This year, as its third consecutive year, the Convocation continues to serve as Supporting Unit for “City-Youth Empowerment Project – Career Workshop for Ethnic Minority”. This annual social service programme, organised by City-Youth Empowerment Project of the Department of Applied Social Sciences, will take place on 7 March.
Ethnic youth from secondary schools will receive a half-day orientation on interview skills and hands-on training by participating in mock interviews. Highlights of the workshop include a career sharing session to be conducted by alumni volunteers and Convocation Standing Committee members from different career fields who will give participants valuable career advice. The Convocation would like to extend a special thanks to alumni volunteers for their dedicated support on this occasion.
