Dear alumni,
The Convocation promotes eco-initiative to foster a sustainable green environment! It has recently supported a community project “Urban Oasis” to help the needy through horticultural therapy. Through learning more green-messages, alumni may know how to make our life or even the world better for living.
The Convocation now cordially invites CityU alumni to join a visit to “Urban Oasis” in the afternoon of 5 October, Sunday. We are pleased to have our Standing Committee member Mr Gabriel Ho - MSocSc Social Work, BSocSc (Hons) Social Work, a devoted and registered social work practitioner, to lead the green tour. Participants will visit an organic farm and enjoy a two-hour programme on planting, farming and many more. You, your family members and friends are welcome to join (a maximum of four for each group). While you will network with fellow alumni or make new friends, you are at the same time supporting the society!

2:30pm Visit to “Urban Oasis” (都市綠洲) in Choi Hung. Activities include:
- Visit to organic farm (e.g. with energy saving system, food waste disposer);
- A 2-hour class on planting and farming.
