Convocation Vice-Chairman Mr Clovis Lau has enthusiastically participated in two alumni reunion activities in the Mainland recently. Following the Guangzhou business forum in March, Clovis met up with some 50 mainland alumni and friends at a networking dinner on 19 May in Xian – now one of China’s most highly populated metropolitan areas. The reunion was an important breakthrough for CityU, marking the alumni network’s first outreach activity in central-northwest China. With Convocation serving as an event partner, Clovis shared his unique experiences with fellow alumni on how to build strong ties with the University. He also joined a toast with other University representatives to commemorate the milestone event.
