Professor Muhammad Yunus (穆罕默德‧尤努斯教授), a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, will be in town on 11 August (Saturday), 2pm, to share his insights on how to make a difference to the world.

Professor Yunus is a Bangladeshi economist and founder of the Grameen Bank, an institution that provides microcredit (small loans to poor people possessing no collateral) to help the underprivileged to establish creditworthiness and financial self-sufficiency. In 2006, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts through microcredit to create economic and social development.

He will be the keynote speaker at the Master Forum, an annual event of Nu Skin in the Greater China Region. The theme this year is “An individual can change the world” (一個人，可以改變世界). The forum will also feature five renowned speakers as facilitator and panelists to discuss and share their insights about social business, including Professor Andrew Chan Chi-fai, Director of EMBA Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr Man Cheuk-fei, Chief Editor of Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly, Dr K K Tse, Founding Chair of Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum, Professor Chan Kin-man, Associate Professor of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Mr Andrew Fan, Regional President of Nu Skin Greater China.
