Agenda and Attachments for Annual General Meeting (AGM) of CityU Convocation to be held on 12 December 2012

Further to the Notice issued to you on 14 November 2012, I would like to inform you of the agenda for the upcoming AGM to be held at 7:30pm on 12 December 2012 at the Wei Hing Theatre, City University of Hong Kong:-

Agenda

1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 1 December 2011
2. Chairman's presentation of "Report for AGM" on behalf of the Third Standing Committee
3. Items for discussion:-

3.1	To discuss and decide changing the Chinese translation of the Convocation of City University of Hong Kong, with or without modification, from "香港城市大學評議會" to "香港城市大學校友議會" as suggested in the AGM 2009;
3.2	To discuss and decide changing the term of office of members of the Standing Committee of the Convocation of City University of Hong Kong, with or without modification, from two years to three years with no retrospective effect;
3.3	To discuss the concern raised by an alumnus regarding the contract renewal of University presidency in March 2012.
